A modest proposal for the PTIA, and the economic leaders of our area:

Instead of a new FedEx cargo hub, how about a technology hub, much like that which exists in Research Triangle park in the Raleigh - Durham area?
Our area has the people and the talent to support this.  Many of the local collages and schools are teaching courses in the technology field to hundreds,or thousands of students each year, yet the majority of their students have to leave the area to find jobs in their technology related field of study because we are so behind the times, and the jobs just don't exist here.

This is wrong, and should be fixed.  Here's your chance to fix it, and I challenge you to fix it. I'll support you all the way. PTIA, is there any reason or rule why you couldn't use your existing property to build a technology hub instead of a runway? Click to close This Window
